ORP3 or “the OR Peripatetic Post-Graduate Programme” is a new instrument of EURO - The Association of European Operational Research Societies – designed for young OR researchers and practitioners. The objective is promoting scientific and social exchanges between the members of the future generation of Operational Researchers.

ORP3 is organized every two years and the 2007 edition in Guimarães is the fourth.
The first edition of ORP3 took place in Paris, France, in September 26-29, 2001
The second edition of ORP3 took place in Lambrecht, Germany, in September 21-26, 2003
The third edition of  ORP3 took place in Valencia, Spain, in September 6-10, 2005

The conference is open to the whole scope of OR, but the following topics are mostly welcome:

 

Conference characteristics

The conference is composed only of plenary sessions and each participant will act as the chair and discussant of another session.

In addition, two tutorial sessions are planned, covering subjects of the conference topics.

Each session will have 25 minutes for presentation and 15 minutes for discussion, in a total of 40 minutes. Tutorial sessions are planned to have 1 hour and 30 minutes.

The room will be equipped with a computer with video projection and an overhead projector for transparencies.
